In the first quarter of 2025, the Romanian iOS market for dining and restaurant apps saw varied performance among the top contenders. Here's a closer look at the trends observed for each app, based on data from Sensor Tower.

McDonald’s began the quarter with weekly downloads hovering around 4.8K, but saw a slight dip mid-quarter before rebounding to a high of 5.4K by the end of March. Active users showed a fluctuating pattern, starting at 135.6K, dropping to 107.1K mid-quarter, and then rising sharply to 161.9K by the quarter's end.

KFC România experienced a steady increase in weekly downloads, starting at 2.9K and reaching 3.4K by the end of March. Active users also displayed a positive trend, growing from 46.5K to 67.1K over the same period.

Bonapp: Save tasty food! saw a notable peak in downloads during the last week of March, with numbers rising to 2.7K after a mid-quarter slump. Active users followed a similar trajectory, peaking at 9.7K towards the end of the quarter.

Starbucks Romania maintained a consistent download rate, finishing the quarter at 920 downloads per week. Active users showed a more varied pattern, with numbers fluctuating throughout the quarter, ending at 10.2K.

Burger King România had relatively stable download figures, with a slight increase to 749 in the final week of March. Active users stayed within the 3K range, ending the quarter at 3.3K.
